Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality care as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in post-acute care settings
  • Collaborating with medical teams to develop individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments effectively to residents
  • Consulting with physicians and staff regarding care options and outcomes
  • Educating residents and their families on optimal care practices
  • Setting up and monitoring necessary medical equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and facility regulations
  • Collecting samples for laboratory analysis
  • Training and overseeing nursing and support staff
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of medical interventions and patient histories
  • Assisting with incident investigations as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Active Maryland state license as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • A minimum of 4 months' experience in post-acute care or hospital environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
