Job Summary

The Club Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and employees at The Ritz-Carlton Club Aspen Highlands. This role involves patrolling the property, monitoring CCTV systems, and responding to emergencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify potential safety risks
  • Respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR as required
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations
  • Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
  • Defuse guest/employee disturbances and call for outside assistance if necessary
  • Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents
  • Handle all interruptions and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Resolve safety hazard situations and report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience required
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

The Club Loss Prevention Officer will receive a competitive hourly rate of $24, as well as health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and work wellness benefits.
