About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our customers' fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed using provided tools
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and colleagues
  • Perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs
  • Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
  • Be available to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needs
Requirements
  • Installation or service experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
  • Capable of performing physical labor
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Obtain NICET I certification within 1 year of employment
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and SmartPhone
