POSITION SUMMARY

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Bottling Operations Supervisor to manage our bottling facility operations. This role is essential for ensuring effective oversight of material handling, process optimization, and production management. The Bottling Operations Supervisor will collaborate closely with quality assurance and maintenance teams, driving ongoing enhancements through Kaizen and autonomous maintenance methodologies. Furthermore, this position will partner with the HR Business Partner to cultivate and sustain a positive workplace environment. As a client-facing role, the Bottling Operations Supervisor will be tasked with maintaining outstanding communication and relationship-building with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any issues swiftly. This role demands a forward-thinking leader capable of balancing operational efficiency with strategic initiatives to propel the plant's success.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education, Credentials, Licenses:
  • B.A. or B.S degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or a combination of education and experience.
Kind & Length of Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Operations Management within a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 3 years of experience supervising a team of five or more.
  • Strong understanding of process optimization, production management, and supply chain principles.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Autonomous Maintenance and Kaizen.
  • Proven leadership in a contract manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Formal Continuous Improvement Training/Certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in utilizing production management software and tools.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is advantageous.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS

HR and Culture:
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to support employee engagement and development.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Address employee concerns and encourage open communication.
Material Handling:
  • Ensure timely and efficient supply of materials to production lines.
  • Coordinate with production and scheduling to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor and manage supply chain processes to prevent disruptions.
Process Optimization:
  • Analyze production workflows and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Work with engineering teams to design and implement new production processes.
  • Implement autonomous maintenance practices to empower production teams.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance equipment uptime and overall reliability.
Production Management:
  • Oversee daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
  • Manage production schedules and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate closely with the quality team to ensure product standards are upheld.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections.
  • Address quality issues promptly and develop preventive measures.
Maintenance:
  • Work with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Implement autonomous maintenance practices to empower production teams.
  • Schedule and oversee regular maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Kaizen methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement practices.
