Job Title: Sales Professional for Verisk Life Solutions

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team at Verisk Life Solutions. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for selling sophisticated software solutions to Financial Services firms aiming to upgrade legacy systems within the Life Insurance and Annuity sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary advocate and challenge prospects and customers by using FAST's trusted methods and strategies, addressing customers and prospects reliance on outdated technology and implementation practices.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, using CRM tools to track progress, forecast sales, and report key metrics.
  • Consultative selling: understand client needs and challenges, and present tailored SaaS solutions that align with their business objectives, specifically focusing on streamlining operations, improving customer experience, and optimizing claims/underwriting processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers including C-level executives, underwriters, and IT departments in insurance companies.
  • Negotiate and contract with internal legal and finance teams to lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal structuring.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from sale to implementation by partnering with the enablement and customer success teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, promotions, advertising, sales, business administration or other financial fields. Master's or MBA desirable.
  • Ten years software sales experience closing efforts nationally recognized Life & Annuity providers.
  • Sales acumen: proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Self-starter: highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently to achieve goals.
  • Deep experience closing sales to C-Level executives in Life and Annuity vertical.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage/drive the complete Sales Life Cycle.
  • Proven ability to achieve desired results both individually and as a part of the Verisk team.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Superior self-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Executive presence.
  • Background in consultative selling methodologies, such as Solution Selling or Challenger Sales.

The Sales Professional acts as the vital link between Verisk Life Solutions and its prospective customers, requiring outstanding communication abilities and exceptional risk and conflict management skills. They must exhibit top-tier leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills to effectively challenge customer perspectives and navigate obstacles. Additionally, they are responsible for successfully establishing, managing, and fulfilling the expectations of both customers and Verisk Life Solutions.
