Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Velasea. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for defining the finance roadmap in relation to our ambitious expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and others on the management team to define the finance roadmap.
  • Foster trust and transparency among the finance team.
  • Help ensure that our financial processes enable the business units to operate smoothly.
  • Own technical processes, including finance close, accounting, expense, disbursements, and NetSuite.
  • Partner with business to identify and implement innovative capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and work with vendor partners to ensure maximum value.
  • Mentor others and lead by example.

  • Strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A) skills.
  • Experience running a credit & collections department.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with cash flow management.
  • Broad-based corporate business experience.
  • M & A experience preferred.
  • Banking and investor relations experience.
  • Capable of working within complex, multi-entity corporate structures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field.
  • At least eight years of experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar role with deep knowledge of market dynamics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to scale operations in a fast-growing company.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence.
