The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Regional Enterprise Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing brand awareness in a designated geographic territory. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build strong relationships with existing customers.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days a week in our office located in Walnut Creek or San Jose. You'll spend the majority of your time conducting sales activities outside of the office, leveraging your expertise to drive results and exceed sales quotas.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and increase brand awareness in a designated geographic territory.
  2. Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing customers.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans, including customer success, product, marketing, and solutions/technology experts.
  4. Provide input to sales management on trends and changes taking place within customer organizations, making recommendations to improve our position with customers.
  5. Leverage strategic client relationships and external presence to achieve Lumen's strategic imperatives.
  6. Recruit high-performing talent to the team and build internal relationships with other leaders to provide win-win career opportunities to Lumen employees.
What We Look For in a Candidate

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced sales professional with a strong track record of success in enterprise sales. You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5-7+ years' experience using a solution-based sales methodology for enterprise technology services in a consultative, complex, business-line sales process.
  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills, as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen and expert knowledge of Lumen's products, services, and solutions.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges: $67,570 - $112,620
