About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Complex Care Clinic, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care, utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, adhering to established guidelines and standards.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to achieve goals of care, manage pain and symptoms, and provide education and support.
  • Contribute to the education and development of new and existing staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and informatics to optimize healthcare outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master of Science degree or equivalent provision.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio.
  • Maintains national certification as APRN in the appropriate population foci for the position, or PA.
