Responsibilities

As a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary projects, including civil engineering design for site development, utilities, rail, storm water management, and road/trail design projects. You will be responsible for pursuing and executing work, and will have a diverse project background with extensive experience.

  • Organize and develop project teams to execute specific phases or aspects of projects.
  • Prepare conceptual design and construction documents using Microstation/Geopak/OpenRoads and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Supervise the work of junior staff and maintain a hands-on role in the production of deliverables.
  • Show understanding of project team management, develop project scope of work, estimating manpower needs, prepare project schedules, and track project progress.
  • Coordinate with in-house engineering, architects, environmental/planning, and outside consultants.
  • Review project design for general compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer contract requirements.
  • Assure the project meets quality control and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Train and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in civil engineering and project management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience on a diverse range of projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
  • Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Software expertise in Civil 3D, GeoPak/OpenRoads, Bluebeam.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
