Job Title: Clinical Director - Intellectual Disabilities & Autism

Job Summary:

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to support clinical and oversight activities for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism (IDA) with comorbid mental illness (MI), including challenging behaviors and problematic sexual behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to providers, administrators, and community mental health services regarding individuals with IDA and co-occurring MI/behavioral challenges.
  • Participate and lead transition planning for individuals moving to or remaining in integrated community settings.
  • Conduct reviews of behavioral incidents, identify individuals at risk, and contribute to quality management reports.
  • Perform Higher Level Reviews for individuals at risk of placement in State Operated Facilities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on IDA and MI, providing guidance to the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), Department of Human Services (DHS), and other external stakeholders.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of community and statewide resources and refer stakeholders to appropriate clinical services.
  • Support positive practice initiatives, risk management strategies, and contribute to the development of policies and training programs.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Human Services (psychology, nursing, social work, or a related field).
  • At least 6 years of clinical experience working with children or individuals across the lifespan with IDA and MI, including experience in managing challenging behaviors and problematic sexual behaviors.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in computer-based applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Positive Practices/Approaches and the Recovery Model frameworks in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders (Providers, Administrators, HCQU, DHS Offices) and analyzing quality/risk management data.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned regions and across the state as required.
