Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to enhance our restaurant team.

As a Shift Leader, you will be trained to execute all responsibilities typically handled by Team Members, while also taking on the crucial role of overseeing daily operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to company standards across all operational aspects, including food preparation and service, customer engagement, restaurant upkeep, team leadership, and additional tasks as assigned.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee exceptional service and satisfaction for our guests
  • Mentor and develop team members
  • Leverage GPS Hospitality Systems to effectively manage restaurant operations during each shift
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a thorough understanding and high proficiency in restaurant operations
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to the team
  • Supervise in alignment with GPS values and expected behaviors
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Adhere to and enforce all cash handling policies; address and document any violations
  • Undertake any other duties as directed by the Restaurant General Manager (RGM)

Position Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
