Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Palace at Somerset Park. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a kind, loving, gentle, and patient manner. You will work under the direction of the Director of Resident Care (DRC) to ensure the highest level of care and dignity for our residents. Responsibilities:

\u2022 Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
\u2022 Assist with personal hygiene and personal care in a safe and proper manner
\u2022 Observe residents for any changes in condition and report to the DRC or ADRC
\u2022 Be friendly and supportive to residents, responding to their needs and requests
\u2022 Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
\u2022 Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
\u2022 Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

\u2022 High school graduate or equivalent (GED) preferred
\u2022 Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Florida or current CPR/First Aid card
\u2022 Experience working with geriatric residents in a similar setting
\u2022 Ability to speak, read, and write in English with good comprehension; Spanish preferred
\u2022 Familiarity with AHCA Regulations, State, and Federal Laws
\u2022 Ability to operate equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, pendants, and wander guard
\u2022 Basic math skills required
