Position Overview

Purpose of the Role

The Education and Training Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Learning and Assessment Department achieves its organizational objectives by defining, managing, and overseeing various projects and initiatives involving volunteers, contractors, and employees within the Assessment Division. This role is pivotal in addressing the training requirements of the organization while fostering a culture of inclusivity at Inteleos.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives by recommending improvements and implementing changes to enhance engagement, learning, and retention, aligning with the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Ensure that all training materials and programs are up-to-date, accurate, and impactful.
  • Stay informed about new methodologies, tools, and techniques in instructional design and training relevant to the organization and industry.
  • Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and manage content to generate statistical insights that inform training and content development efforts.
  • Utilize a diverse range of training methods tailored to various audiences.
  • Conduct or facilitate mandatory and recommended training sessions.
  • Ensure that departmental and divisional training objectives are met while adhering to the approved training budget.
  • Promote a collaborative environment by maintaining strong working relationships with department and division personnel.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Education/Training, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in training diverse audiences, both virtually and in-person.
  • At least one year of experience in an education or assessment-related organization is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in instructional design and adult learning principles.

  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to deliver effective training across various formats.
