The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong willingness to collaborate within a team.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) is preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience and skills can be demonstrated.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or bulk material handling projects.
  • Advanced ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks or AutoCAD 3D is advantageous.
  • The capability to assess project compatibility with our product offerings.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, research, and evaluation skills to provide solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Daily Responsibilities:
Your daily tasks will include:
  • Adhering to the company’s standard procedures for costing and quoting on new project opportunities.
  • Ensuring that ongoing projects remain within budget and timelines, while reporting on performance against KPIs and requirements.
  • Identifying and implementing corrective actions as necessary and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Reviewing tender documents to minimize contractual risks through insurance or other commercially viable means.
  • Interpreting tender requirements and ensuring all parties understand their responsibilities.
  • Validating invoices and reports to ensure compliance with payment schedules.
  • Preparing contract variations and exemption requests, making informed decisions based on risk assessments.
  • Managing project processes using our CRM system to ensure tasks are completed and followed up effectively.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a similar field).
  • A self-starting attitude.
  • A strong focus on teamwork.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
