Project Closeout Manager

Vertical Mechanical Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Project Closeout Superintendent to oversee the final stages of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the closeout process for construction projects, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare, review, and manage all closeout documentation, including warranties, operation manuals, as-built drawings, and punch lists.
- Conduct final inspections to ensure all work meets the specified standards and contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient project closeout.
- Manage and track change orders, ensuring all adjustments are documented and communicated effectively.
- Ensure all closeout activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the closeout process.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on the progress and status of project closeout.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and subcontractors involved in the closeout process.
- Identify opportunities for improving closeout procedures and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on project closeout.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, change order management, and quality control standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
