About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Sales Representative to join our team at Transportation Insight Holding Company. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with shippers and carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with shippers and carriers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and production metrics
  • Collaborate with coworkers in a team-oriented environment to achieve sales goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but no degree required
  • Available to work full-time, 100% in-office
  • Tech savvy with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
  • Prior sales experience preferred or passion for inside sales
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
