Sales Engineer for Technical Solutions

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Sales Engineer specializing in technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive, passion, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Experience: Bring 5-10 years of experience in sales, particularly with technical products such as OEM components or machinery tailored for large, intricate clients.
- Revenue Growth: Focus on expanding revenue streams while managing both strategic and daily interactions with major accounts. Understand and service existing customer requirements while identifying new opportunities to enhance their experience.
- Quoting Expertise: Provide accurate quotes for technical products, often requiring customization to meet specific client needs.
- Technical Acumen: Maintain a working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles. While not mandatory to be a licensed Professional Engineer, a solid understanding is essential for translating customer requirements into engineering designs and manufacturing processes.
- External Communication: Collaborate with large OEM clients to comprehend their unique product and delivery requirements. Share timelines and assist in prioritizing order deliveries.
- Internal Communication: Convert customer needs into product specifications, manufacturing timelines, and shipping documents. Act as the customer advocate within Engineering, Manufacturing, and Accounting departments.
- Performance Metrics: Be results-oriented, understanding the importance of performance-based metrics and striving to achieve set goals.
- Emotional Intelligence: Exhibit patience and high emotional intelligence, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with challenging individuals.
- Process Improvement: Show a passion for enhancing processes, establishing new policies, and ensuring their implementation.
- Creative Problem Solving: Approach challenges as opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly for managing project deliveries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is highly regarded.
- 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing sales or a similar industry.
