Overview:


The primary role of a financial analyst is to evaluate financial data and generate comprehensive reports to track or uphold records of assets, liabilities, income and expenses, tax obligations, or other financial operations within an organization.

A typical financial analyst is tasked with interpreting and conveying financial insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:


Examine accounting documentation, financial statements, or other fiscal reports produced by team members to ensure precision, thoroughness, and adherence to reporting and procedural standards.

Review and sanction budgets and periodic reports that juxtapose estimated costs with actual expenditures.
Establish recordkeeping and accounting frameworks.
Draft guidelines and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping staff and oversee their work functions.
Assess operations to identify accounting requirements and propose and/or devise solutions to business and financial challenges.

Gather and scrutinize data to uncover insufficient controls, redundant efforts, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.

Compile, assess, and validate annual reports, financial statements, and other documentation, utilizing accepted accounting and statistical methodologies to evaluate financial health and support financial planning.


Essential Skills:
Proficient verbal and written communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical thinking.
Advanced capability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficient application of accounting and mathematical principles as required.
Strong aptitude for analyzing business trends and forecasting future revenues and expenditures.
In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to accounting.

Top 3 Required Hard Skills + Experience

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting with a solid understanding of partner incentives and SAP.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data management and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and pivot tables.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in compliance and control, with knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related financial field is mandatory. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
8-10 years of experience in finance and/or accounting is required.

The salary range mentioned is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting anticipates offering for this position (compensation may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location, and client requirements).
