Key Responsibilities:


The Healthcare Applications Support Analyst is tasked with delivering immediate and follow-up assistance to end users utilizing healthcare systems to fulfill their primary job functions, alongside supporting clinical provider computer hardware.


As a Healthcare Applications Support Analyst, your duties will include:
  • Troubleshooting Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related clinical applications
  • Providing remote support and effective solutions for end users through various communication channels
  • Achieving a high first-contact resolution rate by employing a diverse array of remote software tools to diagnose and rectify hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Guiding end users in navigating their technology
  • Collaborating with external vendors to facilitate business objectives
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive internal documentation and job aids to expedite issue resolution, including Application Support protocols, technical tips, and knowledge bases
  • Repairing, configuring, and deploying laptops
  • Conducting software application testing for new releases and implementations
  • Being available for a rotating on-call schedule (including evenings and weekends every six weeks).

Qualifications:
Skills and Experience Required:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dynamic IT Helpdesk or EMR Helpdesk environment, supporting a variety of software applications
  • Proficiency in Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 10) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expertise in troubleshooting network connectivity issues
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and associated applications, including but not limited to VPNs, EMRs, and remote monitoring/management tools
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities

Preferred:
  • Candidates residing in the CST, MST, or PST time zones are preferred to provide coverage for the team operating in the EST.

The compensation for this position is competitive and based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
