About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead to join our team at Edwards Vacuum. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards equipment installed onsite.
  • Provide project engineering/management support for new projects proposals and upgrade programs.
  • Offer expert technical support/first level of escalation for the site team and training for the on-site service team.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team and PCs to ensure that NPI, CIP projects receive the appropriate field input and the local site team(s) have the training, procedures, and parts needed for CIPs and NPIs.
  • Develop local work instructions and procedures as required to support installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Lead on-site regularly scheduled technical meetings to ensure that the site team is aware of all technical issues and lesson learned.
  • Work with the team lead and site manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for the site team.
Requirements
  • AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field, or 4+ years' related technical experience.
  • 5 years related industry experience including the completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan for the current position.
  • Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas experience in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to learn how to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organization, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
