Position Summary:
Are you an individual who thrives during the night hours and possesses a strong commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction? As a Night Audit Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the nightly operations of our establishment, ensuring precise financial reporting, outstanding guest interactions, and a seamless transition into the following day. Your keen attention to detail, adept problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities will be essential in upholding the highest standards of service and guest contentment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the night audit team to guarantee accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and reports.
- Execute night audit functions, including account balancing, charge verification, and discrepancy reconciliation.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and prompt manner.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures throughout the night shift.
- Collaborate with departments such as housekeeping and security to maintain smooth operations during nighttime hours.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and surpassing expectations.
- Train and mentor night audit team members, offering guidance and support.
- Assist in the introduction of new processes and technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in accounting or hospitality is advantageous.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a Front Desk role.
- Prior experience in a night audit position or similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent mathematical capabilities.
- Proficient in hotel property management systems and accounting software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
- Leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
