About the Role

We are seeking an Eligibility Specialist to join our team at Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County inc. As an Eligibility Specialist, you will be responsible for working independently to implement program initiatives, maintaining confidentiality of protected customer and program information, and providing excellent customer service.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will also need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to write accurate, complete, and professional case notes, and strong organizational and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently, efficiently, and with integrity to implement program initiatives and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected customer and program information.
  • Provide excellent customer service, respond to client and provider concerns, and work towards resolution of client concerns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social services or related field, or high school diploma with two years' experience in Human Services Work.
  • Experience working with low-income families and community services preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to write accurate, complete, and professional case notes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to maintain a caseload and ensure organization of workflow to meet required deadlines.
  • Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
