Role Responsibilities:
As a Laboratory Scientist, you will engage in comprehensive laboratory testing across various departments, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, and Urinalysis.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses utilizing advanced analyzers and manual techniques on specimens such as blood, urine, and other bodily fluids following established protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of clinical results.
- Maintain and demonstrate expertise in clinical laboratory practices.
- Oversee, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments in your designated area.
- Identify and document any deviations in test systems, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Biology or Chemistry is required.
- Certification from ASCP or AMT, or equivalent is preferred; eligibility for examination is required.
- Completion of an internship in an accredited CLSI program or at least one year of clinical laboratory experience is preferred.
