Key Responsibilities- Provide Supportive Learning and Leisure Opportunities: Work closely with our residential and overnight treatment team to create a safe and therapeutic learning environment, providing individualized supports to participants based on their treatment needs.
- Implement Therapeutic Frameworks: Engage with participants throughout all daily activities, supporting them in accessing residential programming and making learning fun and joyful.
- Support Daily Living Activities: Provide one-on-one support to participants to help them engage in activities of daily living, such as personal care and meal preparation.
- Document Progress and Incidents: Complete program communication and documentation requirements, including daily participant progress summaries and incident reports.
- Participate in Crisis Intervention: Support participants in crisis situations, working collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Education and Experience: B.A. or B.S. in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field. Previous experience in a residential or therapeutic setting is preferred.
- Skills and Competencies: Demonstrates proficiency in implementing therapeutic frameworks, such as the ARC model of treatment. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively on a team, and a strong commitment to trauma-informed care.
