We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced fundraising professional to join our team as a Code Fundraising Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our mission of expanding access to computer science education in K-12 schools.
As a Code Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure contributed revenue for Code.org. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with grant funders and corporate foundation partners, identifying and soliciting new prospects to secure new revenue, and writing and submitting high-quality funding proposals and reports.
You will report directly to the VP of Development and work closely with the Founder and CEO, as well as other members of the Executive Team. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of our fundraising efforts.
About Us
Code.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing participation by young women and students from underrepresented groups in computer science education. We believe that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science as part of their core curriculum. Our vision is to see a world where all students have access to quality computer science education, regardless of their background or location.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $91,800 - $102,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working hours, paid time off, medical and dental insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan. We also offer opportunities for professional development and growth, as well as the chance to work with a talented and passionate team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years of fundraising or business development experience, with a proven track record of securing significant donations or grants. You will also need to have excellent networking, presentation, and relationship-building skills, as well as experience in grant writing and communications. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, although a master's degree or higher is preferred.
If you are a motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about our mission, we encourage you to apply.
