As the Northeast Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and enhancing market presence with current clients while actively seeking new business opportunities. This role emphasizes the importance of fostering relationships with architecture and design firms. By maintaining robust connections within our customer network, you will establish yourself as a trusted industry resource and product authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct appointments and presentations with architects, interior designers, contractors, and facility end users.
- Manage and expand existing accounts while pursuing new client relationships.
- Demonstrate expertise in product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- A college degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in the field.
- Experience in engaging with the A&D community is essential.
- Proven track record in inside or outside sales within a B2B context, with skills in prospecting, cold-calling, and business development.
- Extensive experience in construction sales is mandatory; experience in window coverings sales is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated history of achieving sales growth and collaborating effectively with teams.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and as a valuable team member.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email).
- Ability to adapt swiftly to the evolving demands of business growth.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the territory.
Compensation: Expected salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 base plus commissions.
