Position at SBM Management

The Site Supervisor is tasked with the critical role of overseeing and ensuring the safe execution of activities within the designated program. This encompasses managing both company personnel and temporary staff involved in the program. The individual will conduct inspections of areas, equipment, and working conditions to guarantee adherence to sanitation and OSHA standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the duties of team members within the assigned program
  • Provide training, guidance, and oversight to employees regarding tasks, safety protocols, policies, and procedures
  • Coordinate and monitor work activities, offering recommendations for training and disciplinary actions
  • Prepare written reports, including pass down, weekly, or monthly summaries
  • Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections
  • Manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair schedules
  • Oversee supply tracking and inventory management
  • Ensure employees utilize personal protective equipment correctly to maintain safety compliance
  • Report personnel and customer-related issues to management
  • Address at-risk behaviors immediately and escalate to management
  • Suggest corrective actions for areas requiring improvement
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including training, inspections, attendance, and performance metrics
  • Possess familiarity with supervisory responsibilities
  • Some travel may be necessary for this role
Qualifications:
  • Six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training; High School diploma or GED; or a combination of education and experience
  • A valid driver's license may be required
  • Forklift certification may be necessary
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
  • Proficient in database software, internet applications, spreadsheet software, and word processing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service capabilities, training proficiency, and effective time management
  • Skills in problem-solving, presentation, and coaching
  • Able to read and comprehend documents such as safety regulations, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills with customers, contractors, or employees of the organization. Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 per year

Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with potential special requests and occasional weekend work as needed
