Job Summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Med Surg nurse. This role will involve providing safe and family-centered patient care, utilizing the Nursing Care Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

* Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
* Implement evidence-based nursing practices to promote optimal patient outcomes
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve seamless transitions
* Provide education and support to patients and families on health management and self-care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

* Current Washington State RN License or equivalent license required for other states
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
* Prior experience in pediatric or med surg nursing preferred
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; PALS or PEARS certifications may be required based on departmental needs
