At A Safe Haven Foundation, we are seeking a highly skilled Rapid Response Team Member: Crisis Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Rapid Response Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for monitoring the building, welcoming residents and visitors, following facility policies and protocols, and being a helpful resource for residents, staff, and visitors. You will work closely with other RRT members and departments to ensure the efficient flow of information, resources, and personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors inflow and outflow of residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of caller(s), and forwards calls to appropriate staff member or department.
  • Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Conducts walk-throughs of the building and reports any incidents or issues.
  • Serves as a resource for residents, staff, and visitors related to facility operations.
  • Participate in initial incident assessments to understand the scope, scale, and impact of the crisis, and report back to the Rapid Response Team Leader.
  • Maintains client confidentiality by not disclosing or affirming client whereabouts or presence at facility.
  • Works closely with other RRT members and departments to ensure the efficient flow of information, resources, and personnel.
  • Communicates with staff and other team members using Teams.
  • Files and stores documents as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook) and typing skills (30wpm).
  • Aptitude for working in a process-oriented, detail-focused atmosphere.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to professionally communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability and ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Salary Information: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
