Welcome to GuideOne Insurance. We are currently looking for a skilled and committed Financial Analyst to become a vital part of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our financial planning and analytical capabilities. Your primary duties will encompass creating financial assessments, forecasting, and supporting business intelligence initiatives, along with contributing to the formulation of the annual financial plan and delivering comprehensive analysis for GuideOne and its associated entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial assessments, forecasting, and business intelligence initiatives to promote effective financial operations.
  • Assist in the development of the annual financial plan and engage in financial reforecasts and projections throughout the fiscal year.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate financial challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate allocations across divisions and product lines.
  • Support analysis of functional expenses and collaborate with leadership to create budgets.
  • Work alongside the business to enhance performance and manage expenses effectively.
  • Collect and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data influencing financial performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in financial planning and analysis.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance operations and regulatory standards.
  • Experience with management reporting systems is advantageous.
