Job Overview:

As a Closing Coordinator at FirstService Residential, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the closing department. Your primary responsibilities will include generating closing statements for all co-op closings, preparing closing statements for initial sponsor sales, and recording co-op closing fees/title transfer fees onto an Excel monthly closing spreadsheet.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Generate closing statements for all co-op closings
  2. Prepare closing statements for initial sponsor sales
  3. Record co-op closing fees/title transfer fees onto an Excel monthly closing spreadsheet
  4. Scan closing statements and documents, and email them to ZenDesk
  5. Deliver building closing fees to A/R attached to the closing statement
  6. Deliver FSR checks to the supervisor attached to the closing statement for electronic deposit
  7. Filing closed files
  8. Assist with preparing stock certificates and proprietary leases as needed
  9. Assist with preparing condo closing statements as needed
  10. Provide support to Associate Closing Agents as needed
  11. Maintain a spreadsheet for outside closings conducted by outside attorneys
Skills & Qualifications:

We are seeking an individual with an associate's degree or higher, who possesses a high level of energy and a strong bias towards service excellence and getting things done with a sense of urgency. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, and experience with Microsoft Excel and Office.

The successful candidate will also possess personal and professional integrity, the ability to work independently and as a team player, and be well-organized, efficient, and have a good sense of priorities. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are also essential.

Compensation:
