Job Overview

Under the guidance of the Senior Financial Analyst, you will conduct financial evaluations and generate reports for designated financial sectors. You will also assist in various financial research initiatives and analyze business operations. Responsibilities may include collaboration with business units, analytics, annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic planning, monthly forecasting, metrics and scorecard preparation, and period-end closing activities. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

+ Act as a financial partner for specific functions, addressing accounting and finance-related inquiries. This role requires the ability to identify business needs and manage risks and opportunities effectively.

+ Engage in the development and assembly of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for the assigned segment of the profit and loss statement (P&L) and associated balance sheet accounts.

+ Revise the monthly forecast for the designated function in response to business developments. Communicate these changes to stakeholders by providing detailed, actionable insights and guidance on potential risks.

+ Contribute to month-end and quarter-end closing processes to ensure the timely completion of assigned responsibilities, including the identification and prompt resolution of any unusual items or issues.

+ Deliver thorough financial analyses and models for various requests, tailored to the assigned function, which may include product development, customer insights, competitive assessments, and pricing strategies.

+ Manage project work that spans multiple financial disciplines, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), new product initiatives, manufacturing investments, and market investments.

+ Assess and present periodic metrics, scorecards, and reports.

Qualifications

+ A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

+ At least one year of professional experience in general business and finance.

+ Familiarity with profit and loss management, as well as knowledge of financial systems and fundamental accounting principles.

+ Proven ability to collaborate across various departments to complete projects or address organizational challenges.

+ Experience in critical thinking, utilizing analytics, benchmarking, and insights to formulate effective strategies and solutions.
