Harlem Hospital Center, a cornerstone of the Harlem community since 1887, provides comprehensive medical services to residents of Central Harlem, West Harlem, Washington Heights, and Inwood. With over 90 specialized ambulatory care services, dentistry, oral surgery, behavioral health services, and substance abuse treatment, Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in the area, capable of treating the most critically ill patients.

Job Responsibilities
This role oversees the work of a social work program or segment of a large or specialized social work program, providing psychosocial services using casework, group work, and community organization methodologies. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining internal administrative controls to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, NYC Health + Hospitals regulations, and preparing reports on staff operations to facilitate improved services, increased patient satisfaction, and better patient outcomes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mediate disputes concerning case management, agency policies/procedures, and staff issues. Additionally, they will participate in the development and integration of community social services.
