Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at L3Harris. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and record-keeping.

Responsibilities:

* Manage inventory levels, track shipments, and maintain accurate records
* Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantity, weight, and condition
* Process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents
* Stock and distribute materials in inventory and on receiving line
* Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, after receiving internal certification
* Maintain knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements
* Perform crate shop functions, including operating power saws and nail guns
* Ensure quality and accuracy in inventory management
* Collaborate with team members to meet changing priorities and customer needs

Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Willingness to work any shift and overtime as needed
* High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
* Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with inventory management software
* Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
