Job Summary

Pain Specialists of America LLC is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure in Texas, and board certification by either ANCC or AANP.

The successful candidate will have prior experience working with pain management patients, with a strong understanding of medical guidelines and procedures. They will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical exams and patient observations.
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms.
  • Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
  • Order, administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
  • Detect changes in a patient's health and change treatment plans as necessary.
  • Administer medicines and treatments.
  • Evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals.
  • Train patients and families on managing pain.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited nursing program. Must have RN licensure in Texas and be board certified by either ANCC or AANP.
  • Prior experience working with pain management patients is preferred but is not required.
  • 2-5 + yrs of experience required
