Job Summary: Rock West Composites is seeking a highly skilled NDT Inspector II to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining NDT procedures to meet customer requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement NDT procedures for ultrasonic inspection of composite materials and assemblies.
  • Oversee NDT personnel, including training and records management.
  • Coordinate with managers, department leads, and team members to ensure all jobs are tested according to specifications and requirements.
  • Interpret and evaluate NDT results, communicating findings to quality, production, and engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain NDT reference standards and technique sheets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a technical aerospace quality-related field.
  • NDT Level II certification in line with ASNT-TC-1A or NAS-410 or DoD guidance in ultrasonic inspections (UT).
  • Experience with composite materials and processing techniques, such as autoclave, RTM, and compression molding.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
