Job Description

As an Ultrasonic NDT Inspector with Magnum Staffing Services, Inc., you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using ultrasonic equipment. This role involves working under the supervision of a level 2 or 3 inspector and requires a strong attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up equipment: Preparing the ultrasonic testing equipment for use.
  • Conducting tests: Performing ultrasonic inspection tests to ensure the integrity of materials and components.
  • Recording results: Recording and classifying the results of the tests to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Reporting results: Reporting the results of the tests to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adhering to safety regulations: Ensuring that safety regulations are strictly followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Applying testing criteria: Applying testing criteria following applicable specifications or standards to ensure compliance.
  • Assisting with development: Assisting in the development and implementation of advanced technical inspections to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
