About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Nurse to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support during this critical period in a woman's life.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing maternity services, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications, perform routine medical procedures, and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely and effective communication with healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in maternity services.
