Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments and registrations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Charge Entry: Review and verify patient charges, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Billing: Process and submit patient billing, including insurance claims and payments.
  • Collection: Follow up with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing and collection issues.
  • Coding: Assign and verify CPT and ICD-9 codes for accurate billing and reimbursement.
  • Follow-up: Initiate contact with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing and collection issues.
  • Payment Posting: Post patient payments and denials, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Reporting: Assist in reviewing and balancing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
  • 1.5 years of experience in Medical Billing, Medical Collections, or Medical Billing Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
