Job Overview

ASP Web Solutions, LLC is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to support our operations. This role involves assisting the Hazardous Waste Management Team with critical tasks related to environmental compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document inspections weekly for the hazardous waste storage facility.
  • Facilitate the loading and transportation of waste containers to the designated storage area.
  • Ensure the compatibility of chemicals during shipment and organize them according to hazard classifications.
  • Maintain and submit necessary information for compliance with the State of Texas Environmental Electronic Reporting System (STEERS).

Required Training Certifications:

  • Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) training for hazardous waste management.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
  • Training for Waste Management in Satellite Accumulation Areas (SAA) and Universal Waste Accumulation Areas (UWAA).
  • Certification for the 8-hour refresher course in Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) compliant hazardous waste storage facility.
  • Background in performing regulatory inspections at large quantity generator sites and preparing waste for off-site treatment and disposal.
