About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering Directorate, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex interconnect solutions for various platforms, including above and below sea combatant platforms, mobile and stationary ground platforms, and missile systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop interconnect solutions using CREO and other CAD tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate interconnect systems into various platforms
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications for interconnect systems
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to source and procure interconnect components and materials
  • Perform research and development to stay up-to-date with the latest interconnect technologies and trends
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in interconnect design and development
  • Proficiency in CREO and other CAD tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of military and commercial codes and standards for cabling and interconnects design
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
