About the Role

Mollie Stone's Markets is seeking a Full-Time Sous Chef at our Burlingame location. The ideal candidate will be customer service-driven and flexible, working various tasks from day to day. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the daily production of high-quality food products for our deli and catering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef in carrying out day-to-day operations of the deli kitchen.
  • Merchandise prepared foods in cases, hot tables, and other food stations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with the team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen environment with proven catering experience (at least 1-3 years).
  • Ability to follow recipe specifications as defined in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Serv-Safe certification is a plus.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Standing: up to 8 hours per day.
  • Walking: up to 8 hours per day.
  • Reaching: up to 4 hours per day.
