Job Title: Compliance Management Lead

J&J Family of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Management Lead to oversee and manage the compliance monitoring process, ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and Company policies/procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the compliance monitoring process, including metric generation and trending.
  • Supervise operational and management activities related to audit/inspections, ensuring relevant processes are in a constant state of audit/inspection readiness.
  • Implement and manage the compliance program, including risk assessments, internal controls, and compliance monitoring activities.
  • Analyze and leverage data to make informed decisions and improve existing processes/systems to prevent noncompliance.
  • Provide guidance to Activity Owners and stakeholders on achieving regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate compliance monitoring/trending analysis results per established procedures.
  • Conduct internal investigations into compliance-related issues and develop corrective actions and remediation plans.
  • Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks.
  • Establish processes related to audit/inspection readiness and support the conduct of the audit/inspection.
  • Improve compliance monitoring systems and processes focusing on operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain compliance-related policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated and regularly reviewed.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
  • Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations to support team members.
  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage collaboration among team members and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across functions within J&J Innovative Medicine.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree is required, preferably in Science, Engineering, or technical subjects.
  • Minimum of 8 years of pharma experience and 5 years in a management role.
  • Extensive experience in compliance management.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, SAP).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify gaps and develop solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Individual Case Safety Report operational experience.
