Job Title: Senior Security Compliance Analyst

Lumen Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Security Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert-level information security consulting services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Advanced-level experience in the information security field, performing program-level tasks with minimal oversight, and providing mentorship to junior-level colleagues.
  • Proficient in business communication, delivery of technical and executive-level presentations, and the ability to clearly articulate highly complex information security topics both written and verbally.
  • Ability to independently identify and resolve program-level problems, develop and implement strategic improvement plans, and provide leadership to colleagues.
  • Ability to independently develop and deliver comprehensive analysis of all levels of information security controls, provide continuous improvements to content and supporting procedures, and identify new business opportunities within the security consulting service capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience as an information security professional, 5-7 of which should be in information security consulting.
  • Solid understanding of security tasks related to networking, and security platforms in corporate IT infrastructure environments.
  • Working knowledge in the following areas: SASE services, Zero Trust Networking (ZTN), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Security Access Broker (CASB), Software Defined – Wide Access Networking (SD-WAN), Security Strategy and Architecture consulting, Data Protection.
  • Ability to work within an Agile environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to successfully interact with audiences that may include senior executives, IT management, and technical staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science with a focus on Cybersecurity and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two industry-recognized certifications related to security consulting services.
  • Experience operating in a Tier 1 consulting firm.
Compensation:

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges: $80,510 - $124,280
