Job Title: Director of Land Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Director of Land Development to lead our expanding operations in Albuquerque and Arizona. This leadership role encompasses strategic thinking, growth-focused management, and technical excellence within a full-service multi-disciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Drive strategic initiatives to achieve business growth and operational excellence. Lead and inspire a high-performance team, setting clear goals aligned with NV5's vision and values.
  • Business Development & Client Relations: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities, nurturing client relationships for long-term partnerships. Work closely with Marketing to create compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Project Management: Establish, maintain, and monitor schedules, budgets, and staffing for projects. Oversee and manage NV5 staff and consultants on Land Development projects.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring profitability and adherence to financial targets. Monitor financial reports and implement strategies for cost optimization and revenue generation.
Requirements:
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in civil engineering. Minimum of 5 years of previous management experience to 10 years of project management experience.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Registered Professional Engineer in either New Mexico and Arizona.
