PC Support Specialist

At firstPRO, Inc, we are seeking a skilled PC Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, delivering, and installing technical equipment, as well as performing on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.

This is a long-term contracting opportunity that requires 100% onsite work. As a PC Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues related to hardware, software, network, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deliver, and install technical equipment as requested.
  • Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software.
  • Identify, research, and efficiently resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain and update inventory records for hardware and peripherals.
  • Follow technology standards and policies set by the customer.
  • Provide on-site technical support using creative problem-solving and a consultative approach.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Information Sciences and Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities with a self-motivated attitude.
  • Knowledge of mobile devices, networking, PCs, printers, and related technology.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, computer hardware/software, and peripherals.
  • Friendly, professional, and adaptable with the ability to work effectively across all staff levels.
  • Ability to travel to multiple business and educational locations.
  • CompTIA A+ certification is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
