As the Financial Services Practice Director at Confluent, you will lead a professional services team that works with our Financial Services customers to ensure their success with Confluent's products. Your responsibilities will include driving adoption and consumption, achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, fostering revenue growth, and developing your team. You will engage with Financial Services customers throughout their lifecycle from pre-sales through delivery to align business outcomes, establish clear success criteria, and ensure overall customer success.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with Financial Services customer organizations at various levels, from C-level and VPs to Architects and Program Managers.
- Establish services direction, oversee customer success and satisfaction, and contribute to the account and regional growth.
- Drive Confluent Professional Services across the customer base in collaboration with software sales teams.
- Own the services sales strategy to achieve bookings, revenue, margin, and utilization goals.
- Ensure successful project delivery to earn our customers' love. Resolve delivery challenges, address resource contentions, and manage expectations.
- Build a great team and company. Develop robust relationships, capabilities, and experience among Confluent team members.
- Participate in Confluent product and sales strategy for the customers in your region.
- Strengthen Confluent success across your customer base by developing strong delivery partner executive relationships and awareness of partner delivery capabilities.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality professional services to enterprise customers and experience in leading and developing high-performing teams. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, data and systems integration, and the data stream processing markets.
The candidate should also have experience in selling enterprise IT delivery services and have a demonstrated success in building and developing remote delivery teams, including resource management, performance assessment, and career/growth planning.
Additionally, the candidate should be willing to travel as required, estimated at 25% of the time, to support sales opportunities and maintain existing customer relationships.
