The State of Vermont is seeking a highly skilled Director of Health Systems Finances to join its innovative leadership team.

This position will spearhead the Board's health systems regulatory work, driving the organization's success in a value-based care environment.

The ideal candidate will manage a team of finance and data professionals, overseeing the development and implementation of fiscal programs and operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of health systems regulatory policies and procedures
  • Managing a team of finance and data professionals to ensure effective fiscal program management
  • Collaborating with Board members to provide expert advice on fiscal matters
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers and payers

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, finance, and regulatory affairs, with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field.

Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in a relevant field, supervisory experience, and expertise in Accountable Care Organization operations or CMS All Payer Model agreements.
