Key Responsibilities:- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned properties, including offices, hallways, bathrooms, stairwells, and classrooms.
- Perform floor care tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot cleaning carpets.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure ongoing cleanliness and safety of facilities.
- Track inventory of maintenance supplies and assist with procurement procedures.
- Assist with housekeeping duties at other sites as assigned.
- Communicate with Facility Manager on safety, hazard, and repair concerns.
- Knowledge of methods and practices used in basic housekeeping work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
