Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned properties, including offices, hallways, bathrooms, stairwells, and classrooms.
  • Perform floor care tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot cleaning carpets.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure ongoing cleanliness and safety of facilities.
  • Track inventory of maintenance supplies and assist with procurement procedures.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties at other sites as assigned.
  • Communicate with Facility Manager on safety, hazard, and repair concerns.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of methods and practices used in basic housekeeping work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Working Conditions:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
