Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a hospital in Lawrence, Massachusetts. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of acute care experience and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association. Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle a multi-task environment are also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families, including assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience.
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
